asmallamountofengineoilduetoits
structuraldesign.Anoilpump

Don'truntheengineiftheengine
coolantlevelislow.Itcouldresultin
extensiveenginedamage.
optimizestheamountofoilinjectedto
lubricatetherotorsealsinthe
combustioncycle.Althoughyour
vehicleisequippedwithanengineoil
levelwarninglightandanengineoil
pressuregauge,itisbesttokeepthe
engineoillevelintherangebetween
fullandlowbycheckingtheoil
dipstickregularly.Mazdarecommends
checkingtheoillevelateverysecond
fuelfilling.Theoilconsumptionofthe
enginedependsonenginespeedand
engineload.Underextremedriving
conditions,oilconsumptioncanbe
higher.

Drivetothesideoftheroadandpark
offtheright-of-way.
Ifthecheckenginelightremainsonor
flashescontinuously,donotdriveathigh
speedsandconsultanAuthorizedMazda
Dealerassoonaspossible.

Turnofftheengineandinspectthe
enginecoolantlevel(page8-15).Ifit's
low,addenginecoolant.
