unnecessaryelectricalloadsinboth
vehicles.

Connectthejumpercablesintheexact
sequenceasintheillustration.
Connectoneendofacabletothe

Removetherubberhosefromthe
batterycover.

battery(1).
Attachtheotherendtothepositive

terminalontheboosterbattery(2).
Connectoneendoftheothercable

tothenegativeterminalofthe
boosterbattery(3).
Connecttheotherendtoasolid,

stationary,exposedmetallicpoint
(forexample,thetighteningbolt)
awayfromthedischargedbattery

Connect cables
in numerical
order and
disconnect in
reverse order.

Removethebatterycoverfromitsrear

andrunitafewminutes.Thenstartthe
