The level of windscreen washer fluid
availableshouldbecheckedonadaily
basis. The level of fluid will be visible
throughthesideofthereservoir.When
the fluid is to be replenished, only a
proprietaryscreenwashadditiveshould
be used and in the concentration rec-
ommended by the manufacturer. The
windscreenwasherreservoirhasatotal
capacity of 3 litres.

Thetransaxlelubricantlevelshould
only be checked when the engine is
cold to preclude the possibility of
personal injury by contact with hot
components.

It is recommended that the manual
transaxle lubricant should be
checked by Hyundai authorised re-
pairer.

Themanualtransaxlelubricantmustbe
checked and or changed at the inter-
valsspecifiedinthemaintenancesched-
ule. Only those lubricants specified
shouldbeusedinordertopreventgear
shifting difficulties or transaxle dam-
age.
Recommended Oil
Use only the approved transaxle lubri-
cant.Therecommendedlubricantsare
complete in themselves and the use of
additivesisneitherrequirednorrecom-
mended. The use of additives may
invalidate the vehicle warranty.
Undilutedwindscreenwasheraddi-
tive must not be allowed to come
into contact with the paintwork. If
spillage occurs, flush the affected
areaimmediately withwater.Donot
operate the windscreen washer for
morethan15secondscontinuously
orwhenthereservoirisemptysince
damage to the washer pump will
result.
