Ifthereisanypotentialperimeteranti-theftproblemwithyourvehicle,
ensureALLIntegratedKeyheadTransmittersarebroughttothe
authorizeddealertoaidintroubleshooting.
Arming the system
Whenarmed,thissystemwillrespondifunauthorizedentryis
attempted.Whenunauthorizedentryoccurs,thesystemwillflashthe
turnsignallampsandwillsoundthehorn.
Thesystemisreadytoarmwheneverthekeyisinthe1(off)position,
orisremovedfromtheignition.Eitherofthefollowingactionswill
prearmthealarmsystem:
•
Pressthe controlontheremoteentrytransmitterportionofyour
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitter.
Whenyoupressthelockcontroltwicewithinthreesecondsonthe
remoteentrytransmitterportionofyourIKT,thehornwillchirponceto
letyouknowthatalldoors,thehoodandthetrunkareclosed.Ifanyof
thesearenotclosed,thehornwillchirptwicetowarnyouthatadoor,
thehoodorthetrunkisstillopen.

Pressthedriverorpassenger
interiordoorlockcontrolwhile
thedoorisopen,thenclosethe
door.
•
Pressthe7•8andthe9•0
controlsonthekeylessentry
keypad(ifequipped)atthesame
timetolockthedoors(driver’s
doormustbeclosed).
Thereisa20secondcountdownwhenanyoftheaboveactionsoccur
beforethevehiclebecomesarmed.
Eachdoor,thehoodorthetrunkisarmedindividually,andifanyare
open,theymustbeclosedforthesystemtoenterthe20second
countdown.
Theturnsignallampswillflashoncewhenalldoors,thehoodandthe
trunkareclosedindicatingthevehicleislockedandenteringthe
20
secondcountdown.
