SEATING
WARNING:Recliningtheseatbackcancauseanoccupantto
slideundertheseat’ssafetybelt,resultinginseverepersonal
injuriesintheeventofacollision.
WARNING:Donotpilecargohigherthantheseatbacksto
reducetheriskofinjuryinacollisionorsuddenstop.
WARNING:Beforereturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginal
position,makesurethatcargooranyobjectsarenottrapped
behindtheseatback.Afterreturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginal
position,pullontheseatbacktoensurethatithasfullylatched.An
unlatchedseatmaybecomedangerousintheeventofasuddenstopor
collision.
Adjustable head restraints
Yourvehicleisequippedwithfrontrowoutboardheadrestraintsthatare
verticallyadjustable.
WARNING:Tominimizetheriskofneckinjuryintheeventofa
crash,thedriverandpassengeroccupantsshouldnotsitin
and/oroperatethevehicle,untiltheheadrestraintisplacedinits
properposition.Thedrivershouldneveradjusttheheadrestraint
whilethevehicleisinmotion.
Theadjustableheadrestraints
consistof:

atrimmedenergyabsorbingfoam
andstructure(1),
•

twosteelstems(2),
aguidesleeveadjust/release
button(3),
•
andaguidesleeveunlock/remove
button(4).
Toadjusttheheadrestraint,dothefollowing:
1.Adjusttheseatbacktoanuprightdriving/ridingposition.
