ElectronicStabilityControl(ESC)mayenhanceyourvehicle’sdirectional
stabilityduringadversemaneuvers,forexamplewhencorneringseverely
oravoidingobjectsintheroadway.ESCoperatesbyapplyingbrakesto
oneormoreofthewheelsindividuallyand,ifnecessary,reducingengine
powerifthesystemdetectsthatthevehicleisabouttoskidorslide
laterally.

instrumentclusterwillflash.

beneficialbecausethewheelsareallowedtospin.Thiswillrestorefull
enginepowerandwillenhancemomentumthroughtheobstacle.To
switchofftheAdvanceTrac௡systempresstheAdvanceTrac௡ЉOffЉ
button.FullfeaturesoftheAdvanceTrac௡systemcanberestoredby
pressingtheAdvanceTrac௡ЉOffЉbuttonagainorbyturningoffand
restartingtheengine.
IfyouswitchofftheAdvanceTrac௡system,theЉslidingcarЉicon
will
illuminatesteadily.PressingtheAdvanceTrac௡ЉOffЉbuttonagainwill
turnoffthelightedbutton,ЉslidingcarЉicon
.
InR(Reverse),ABSandtheEngineandBrakeTractionControlfeatures
willcontinuetofunction;however,ESCisdisabled.
