(calledthe“seatbight”)andone(1)toptetheranchorlocatedbehind
thatseatingposition.Yourvehicleisnotequippedwiththeloweranchor
pointsintheseatbight.Forthisvehicleusethevehicleseatbeltand
uppertethertosecureachildseat.SeeAttachingchildsafetyseats
withtetherstrapsandRecommendationsforattachingsafety
restraintsforchildreninthischapterformoreinformation.

extendsfromthebackofthechildsafetyseatandhookstoananchoring
pointcalledthetoptetheranchor.Tetherstrapsareavailableasan
accessoryformanyoldersafetyseats.Contactthemanufacturerofyour
childseatforinformationaboutorderingatetherstrap,ortoobtaina
longertetherstrapifthetetherstraponyoursafetyseatdoesnotreach
theappropriatetoptetheranchorinthevehicle.
