Vehicle sensitive mode
Thisisthenormalretractormode,whichallowsfreeshoulderbeltlength
adjustmenttoyourmovementsandlockinginresponsetovehicle
movement.Forexample,ifthedriverbrakessuddenlyorturnsacorner
sharply,orthevehiclereceivesanimpactofapproximately5mph
(8
km/h)ormore,thecombinationseatbeltswilllocktohelpreduce
forwardmovementofthedriverandpassengers.
Webbing extraction sensitive mode
Thewebbingsensitivelockingmodelocksthewebbingandprevents
morebeltfrombeingpulledoutifthebeltispulledouttooquickly.The
beltwillunlockwhenyoustoppullingonit.
Automatic locking mode
(outboard front passenger seating position only) for use with child
safety seats
Inthismode,theshoulderbeltisautomaticallypre-locked.Thebeltwill
stillretracttoremoveanyslackintheshoulderbelt.
Theautomaticlockingmodeisnotavailableonthedriverseatbelt.
When to use the automatic locking mode

Anytimeachildsafetyseatisinstalledinapassengerfrontseat.
