Placethekeyontopofthenut,andbe
suretoholdthekeysquaretoit.Ifyou
holdthekeyatanangle,youmay
damagebothkeyandnut.Don'tusea
powerimpactwrench.
2.
Placethelugwrenchontopofthekey,
applypressure,andturnitclockwise.

Removedirtandgrimefromthe
mountingsurfacesofthewheeland
hub,includingthehubbolts,witha
cloth.
WARNING
Donotapplyoilorgreasetolugnuts
andboltsanddonottightenthelug
nutsbeyondtherecommended
tighteningtorque:
Applyingoilorgreasetolugnutsand
boltsisdangerous.Thelugnuts
couldloosenwhiledrivingandcause
thetiretocomeoff,resultinginan
accident.Inaddition,lugnutsand
boltscouldbedamagediftightened
morethannecessary.
4.
Turnthejackhandlecounterclockwise
andlowerthevehicle.Usethelug
wrenchtotightenthenutsintheorder
shown.
WARNING
Makesurethemountingsurfacesof
thewheel,hubandlugnutsareclean
beforechangingorreplacingtires:
Whenchangingorreplacingatire,
notremovingdirtandgrimefromthe
mountingsurfacesofthewheel,hub
andhubboltsisdangerous.Thelug
nutscouldloosenwhiledrivingand
causethetiretocomeoff,resultingin
anaccident.
