Usually, the only thing front seat occupants get to watch is the
road. And in the driver’s case, that’s as it should be. But what
if you could have movie action on one side, while ensuring full
concentration on the other – in other words, if two people could see
different things on the same screen at the same time? Sounds like
pie in the sky but, in fact, it’s already possible – with the innovative
SplitView system. Making its debut in the S‑Class, it opens up a new
dimension in visual display technology.
SplitView gives you two screens in one, enabling two different
full‑size images to be shown simultaneously on a single display unit.
What you see depends solely on which side you’re looking from.
It means that, while the driver follows a route map from the
navigation system, the passenger can explore far‑off galaxies with
George Lucas and Co.
