Rear Seat Entertainment Package (optional).
The Rear Seat Entertainment Package trans-
forms the rear passenger compartment into an
in-car cinema, adding a DVD player, 8-inch TFT
colour screens in the back of the head restraints,
two sets of wireless headphones and a remote
control. In addition, it comes with twin aux-in
sockets for connecting external devices such as
games consoles, and allows all drives and inter-
faces to be operated from the rear.
3D sound in Dolby Digital 5.1 guarantees
maximum listening pleasure, while the speed-
sensitive volume adjustment ensures the sound
remains consistent throughout the journey.
The package also includes the optimised
Harman Kardon Logic7 surround sound
system. This 14-speaker system is tailored to
the S-Class cabin and features a 13-channel
DSP amplifier as well as an integral subwoofer.
In the back of the front head restraints are twin 8-inch screens
