S-Guard

From the outside, the S-Guard is indistinguish-
able from a production model, but under the
skin, it features an array of special modifications
that ensure optimum ballistics protection. Each
S-Guard is assembled at a high-security produc-
tion site using high-strength steel, aramid fibres
and security glass. Even the passenger cell
is completely reconfigured and strengthened,
any Mercedes-Benz, but also has to demonstrate
its bullet and explosion resistance in a range of
ballistic tests, which are administered and
certified by specialised government authorities
in Germany. Only then is it passed fit to face
even the most extreme situations. In addition,
its brakes, suspension and electronic safety
systems are all calibrated to take account of the
especially at points that are inaccessible once the extra weight, ensuring the S-Guard not only
bodywork has been added. The S-Guard undergoes
the same rigorous quality and safety testing as
offers optimum personal security, but also the
comfort you’d expect from a Mercedes-Benz.
