INDICATOR LIGHTS
The following indicator lights flash on for a second when you press the brake to prepare for driving. They should then turn off unless the indicator light
applies to a current situation. Some indicator lights are accompanied by a message displayed on the instrument panel or on the touchscreen. If an
indicator light fails to turn on or off, contact Tesla.
Active Air Suspension’s automatic self-
levelling disabled. The vehicle is in
Jack mode. See pages 31 and 32.
Airbag safety. If it doesn’t flash on when
preparing to drive, or if it remains lit,
contact Tesla immediately.
The parking brake is manually applied.
Headlight high beams are on.
Headlight low beams are on.
The driver or front passenger’s seat belt
is not fastened.
An ABS fault is detected. Contact Tesla
immediately.
A brake system fault is detected or the
brake fluid level is low. Contact Tesla
immediately.
Front fog lights are on.
Tire pressure warning - the pressure of
a tire is out of range. If a fault with the
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
is detected, the indicator light flashes.
For a TPMS fault, contact Tesla.
Not used in North American markets.
Door, trunk, or front trunk is open.
Active Air Suspension fault is
detected. Contact Tesla.
Parking/Side lights are on.
Traction control is in use (light flashes).
