folded down individually.

Nothing should be carried on fop of the luggage
cover. Loose materials could result in injury to
vehicle occupants during sudden braking.

The tall gate or trunk lld should always be
kept completely closed while the vehicle Is
in motion. Ifit Is leftopen orajar, polsonous
exhaustgasesmayenterthecarresultlng In
serious injury or death to the occupants.

To unlock the seat back, pull up on the seat
back locking knob, then pull forward on the
seat back.
o
When you retum the seatback to its upright
position, always be sure it has locked into
position by pulling and pushing on the top of
the seat back.
o The tail gate or trunk lid is opened by first
tuming the key clockwise to release the
lock, then raising the door manually.
WARNING:
When you return the rear seatback to its
upright position after being folded down, be
carefulnotto damage the seatbeltwebbing
or buckle. In addition, do not allow the seat
belt webbing or buckle to get caught or
pinched in the rear seat.

To close, lower the door or lid, then press
down on it until it locks. To be sure the door
or lid is securely fastened, always try to pull
it up again.
