LOW FUEL
WARNING LAMP
LEVEL
SRS (Airbag) Service Re-
minder Indicator (SRI)
(Not all models)
The low fuel warning lamp serves to
warn the driver that the remaining fuel
quantity is approximately 9 litres and
that the vehicle should be refuelled. If
the vehicle is driven for an extended
period with the low fuel warning lamp
illuminated there exists a possibility
that misfiring due to fuel shortage may
occur. This situation must be avoided
to prevent damage to the catalyst oc-
curring.
The SRS service reminder indicator
(SRI) comes on for aproximately 6
seconds after keyisturned tothe"ON"
position or after the engine is started,
after which it will go out.
ThislightalsocomesonwhentheSRS
is not working properly. If the SRI does
not come on, or continuously remains
on after operating for about 6 seconds
when you turned the ignition key to the
"ON" position or started the engine, or
if it comes on while driving, have the
SRSinspectedbyaHyundaiauthorised
repairer.
!
CAUTION:
If the drive belt (generator belt) is
loose, broken, or missing while the
vehicle is driving, there may be a
serious malfunction, engine could
overheat because this belt also
drives the water pump.
