Accumulated snow and ice should be
removed manually. If there is only a
light layer of snow or ice, operate the
heater in the defrost mode to melt the
snow or ice before using the wiper.

The windscreen wiper switch, depen-
dent upon model, has three operating
positions.
The headlight may be flashed by pull-
ingtheturnsignalswitchlevertowards
the steering wheel. The headlight will
be extinguished when the switch is
released.

Intermittent wiper operation.
Low speed operation.
High speed operation.

NOTE:
To use the windscreen washer, pull
the wiper/washer lever toward the
steeringwheel.Whenthewashersare
operated, the wipers automatically
make two passes across the
windscreen. The washer continues to
operate until the lever is released.
To prevent damage to the wiper
system,donotattempttowipeaway
heavy accumulations of snow or
ice.
