o Formaximumeffectivenessincase
ofanaccident,theheadrestshould
be adjusted so the middle of the
headrest is at the same height as
thetopoftheoccupant'seyes.For
this reason, the use of a cushion
thatholdsthebodyawayfromthe
seatbackisnotrecommended.
To adjust the lumbar support, turn the
handle on the outboard or left side of
the seat. To increase the amount of
lumbar support, pull the lever forward.
To decrease it, push the lever toward
the rear.

The active headrest is designed to
moveforwardandupwardduringarear
impact.Thishelpstopreventthedriver's
and front passenger's head from mov-
ing backward and thus helps prevent
neck injuries.
