pairer the pre-tensioner seat belt
system in any manner.
o Improper handling of the pre-
tensionerseatbeltassemblies,and
failuretoheedthewarningstonot
strike, modify, inspect, replace,
service or repairer the pre-
tensionerseatbeltassembliesmay
lead to improper operation or in-
advertent activation and serious
injury.

WARNING:
o Becausethesensorthatactivates
the SRS airbag is connected with
thepre-tensionerseatbelt,theSRS
o Pre-tensionersaredesignedtoop-
erate only one time. After activa-
tion,pre-tensionerseatbeltsmust
be replaced. All seat belts, of any
type, should always be replaced
aftertheyhavebeenwornduringa
collision.
o Thepre-tensionerseatbeltassem-
blymechanismsbecomehotdur-
ing activation. Do not touch the
pre-tensionerseatbeltassemblies
forseveralminutesaftertheyhave
beenactivated.

approximately6secondsafterthe
ignitionkeyhasbeenturnedtothe
"ON" position and then it should
turn off.
o Ifthepre-tensionerseatbeltisnot
working properly, this warning
light will illuminate even if the
SRS system is not functioning.
If the SRS airbag warning light
doesnotilluminatewhentheigni-
tion key is turned to "ON", or if it
remainsilluminatedafterblinking
for approximately 6 seconds,
o Always wear the seat belts when
driving or travelling in a motor
vehicle.
o Do not attempt to inspect or re-
placethepre-tensionerseatbelts
yourself. This must be done by a
Hyundaiauthorisedrepairer.
