REMINDER INDICATOR
PASSENGER'S FRONT
AIRBAG OFF INDICA-
TOR LIGHT

CAUTION:
If there is a malfunction of the
passenger's front airbag ON/OFF
switch,thepassenger'sfrontairbag
OFF indicator will not illuminate
and the passenger's front airbag
willinflate infrontal impact crashes
even ifthe passenger's front airbag
ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF" po-
sition.
If the passenger's front airbag OFF
indicator will not illuminate when
the passenger's front airbag ON/
OFF switch is set to "OFF" posi-
tion, have a Hyundai authorised
repairer inspect the passenger's
front airbag ON/OFF switch and the
SRS airbag system as soon as pos-
sible.
The SRS service reminder indicator
(SRI) comes on and flashes for
approimately 6 seconds after the igni-
tionkeyisturnedtothe"ON"positionor
aftertheengineisstarted,afterwhichit
will go out.
Thepassenger'sfrontairbagOFFindi-
cator illuminates for about 4 seconds
after the ignition key is turned to the
"ON" position or after the engine is
started, and then it will go off in 3
seconds.
Thepassenger'sfrontairbagOFFindi-
cator also comes on when the
passenger'sfrontairbagON/OFFswitch
is set to "OFF" position and turns off
whenthepassenger'sfrontairbagON/
OFF switch is set to "ON" position.
ThislightalsocomesonwhentheSRS
is not working properly.
IftheSRIdoesnotcomeon,orcontinu-
ouslyremainsonafterflashingforabout

secondswhenyouturnedtheignition
key to the "ON" position or started the
engine, or if it comes on while driving,
have the SRS inspected by a Hyundai
authorisedrepairer.
