Ifforsomereason,thepowerassistisinterrupted,itwill
stillbepossibletosteeryourvehicle.Underthesecondi-
tions you will observe a substantial increase in steering
effort, especially at very low vehicle speeds and during
parkingmaneuvers.

The Anti-Lock Brake System is subject to possible
detrimentaleffectsofelectronicinterferencecaused
by improperly installed aftermarket radios or tele-
phones.
NOTE: Increasednoiselevelsattheendofthesteering
wheeltravelareconsiderednormalanddoesnotindicate
thatthereisaproblemwiththepowersteeringsystem.
NOTE:
During severe braking conditions, a pulsing
Uponinitialstart-upincoldweather,thepowersteering 5
pumpmaymakenoiseforashortperiodoftime.Thisis
due to the cold, thick fluid in the steering system. This
noiseshouldbeconsiderednormal,anddoesnotinany
waydamagethesteeringsystem.

POWERSTEERING
Thestandardpowersteeringsystemwillgiveyougood
