Thislightilluminateswhenyourvehicle
speed reaches or exceeds 120km/h.
The warning light will keep illuminating
until the speed drops below 120km/h.
The charging system warning light
should come on when the ignition is
turnedon,thengooutwhentheengine
isrunning.Ifthelightstaysonwhilethe
engine is running, there is a malfunc-
tionintheelectricalchargingsystem.If
the light comes on while you are driv-
ing,stop,turnofftheengineandcheck
underthehood.First,makecertainthe
generator drive belt is in place. If it is,
check the tension of the belt.
The SRS service reminder indicator
(SRI) comes on for about 6 seconds
after key is turned to the "ON" position
or after the engine is started, after
which it will go out.
ThislightalsocomesonwhentheSRS
is not working properly. If the SRI does
not come on, or continuously remains
on after operating for about 6 seconds
when you turned the ignition key to the
"ON" position or started the engine, or
if it comes on while driving, have the
SRS inspected by an authorized
Hyundai Dealer.
Andthen,havethesystemcheckedby
your Hyundai dealer.

CAUTION:
If the drive belt (generator belt) is
loose, broken, or mission while the
vehicle is driving, there may be a
serious malfunction, engine could
overheat because this belt also
drives the water pump.
