Thelightilluminatestoindicatethatthe
powersteeringisinoperable.Ifthelight
illuminates,turnofftheengineandrestart
it.
Ifthelightdoesnotilluminateafter
restartingtheengine,thisindicatesthat
thepowersteeringisrestoredandnormal
steeringispossible.
WhentheshiftleverisintheDorM
position,thenumeralfortheselectedgear
displays.
qCruiseMainIndicatorLightí
Ifthelightremainsilluminated,thepower
steeringisstillinoperable.Consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
NOTE
ThislightcomesonwhentheON/OFF
switchispressedandthecruisecontrol
systemisactivated.
Thepowersteeringsystemisinoperable
whenthepowersteeringmalfunction
indicatorlightilluminates.Steeringis
possible,butrequiresmorephysical
effort.

Thislightcomesonwhenacruisingspeed
isset.
qPowerSteeringMalfunction

Whenoperatingtheturnsignallights,the
leftorrightturnsignalindicatorlight
flashestoindicatewhichturnsignallight
isoperating(page5-45).
Whenoperatingthehazardwarning
lights,bothturnsignalindicatorlights
flash(page5-51).
Thisindicatorlightilluminateswhenthe
ignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
positionandgoesoffwhentheengineis
started.
