Securethechild-restraintsystemwith
thelapportionofthelap/shoulderbelt.
Seethemanufacturer'sinstructionson
thechild-restraintsystemforbelt
routinginstructions.

Togettheretractorintotheautomatic
lockingmode,pulltheshoulderbelt
portionoftheseatbeltuntiltheentire
lengthofthebeltisoutoftheretractor.
NOTE
Inspectthisfunctionbeforeeachuseof
thechild-restraintsystem.Youshould
notbeabletopulltheshoulderbeltout
oftheretractorwhilethesystemisin
theautomaticlockingmode.Whenyou
removethechild-restraintsystem,be
surethebeltfullyretractstoreturnthe
systemtoemergencylockingmode
beforeoccupantsusetheseatbelts.

Ifyourchild-restraintsystemrequires
theuseofatetherstrap,hookand
tightenthetetherstrapafterraisingthe
headrestraint(Second-rowseats)by
followingthemanufacturer's
instructions.
