TheignitionswitchisintheOFFposition
Thedriverandfrontpassengersafetybeltsareunbuckled
WhilethedesignallowsyoutodeactivateyourBelt-Minder௡ ,this
systemisdesignedtoimproveyourchancesofbeingsafely
beltedandsurvivinganaccident.Werecommendyouleavethe
Belt-Minder௡systemactivatedforyourselfandotherswhomayusethe
vehicle.Toreducetheriskofinjury,donotdeactivate/activatethe
Belt-Minder௡featurewhiledrivingthevehicle.
1.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheRUN(orON)position.DONOTSTART
THEENGINE.
2.
Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff(Approximately1–2
minutes).

Step3mustbecompletedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.
3.
Fortheseatingpositionbeingdisabled,atamoderatespeed,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybeltninetimes,endingintheunbuckledstate.
Step3mustbecompletedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.
•
AfterStep3,thesafetybeltwarninglightwillbeturnedonforthree
seconds.
4.
Withinapproximatelysevensecondsofthelightturningoff,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybelt.
•
ThiswilldisabletheBelt-Minder௡featureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlyenabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds.
