Programming remote transmitters
Itisnecessarytohaveall(maximumoffour—originaland/ornew)of
yourremotetransmittersavailablepriortobeginningthisprocedure.
Toprogramthetransmittersyourself:

Insertakeyintheignitionand
turnfrom1(LOCK)to3(RUN)
eighttimesinrapidsuccession
(within10seconds)withthe
eighthturnendinginthe3
(RUN)position.Thedoorswill
lock/unlocktoconfirmthat
programmingmodehasbeen
entered.

Within20seconds,programa
remotetransmitterbypressinganybuttononatransmitter.Thedoors
willlock/unlocktoconfirmthattheremotetransmitterhasbeen
programmed.(Ifmorethan20secondspassbeforepressingaremote
transmitterbutton,theprogrammingmodewillexitandtheprocedure
willhavetoberepeated.)

Repeattheprevioussteptoprogramadditionalremotetransmitters.
Thedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirmthateachremotetransmitterhas
beenprogrammed.
Whenyouhavecompletedprogrammingtheremotetransmitters,turn
theignitionto1(LOCK)orwait20seconds.Againthedoorswill
lock/unlocktoconfirmprogramminghasbeencompleted.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsilluminatewhentheremoteentrysystemisusedto
unlockthedoor(s).
Thesystemautomaticallyturnsoffafter30secondsorwhentheignition
isturnedtotheRUNposition.Thedomelampcontrol(ifequipped)
mustnotbesettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminatedentrysystemto
operate.
