WARNING: ENGINE EXHAUST CAN BE DANGEROUS!
Engineexhaustgasesarepotentiallylethal.Ifatanytimeengineexhaustgasisdetectedwithinthepassenger
compartment,movethevehicletoanopenareaandopenallwindows.

o  Never inhale exhaust gas.
ExhaustgasescontainCarbonMonoxidewhichiscolourlessandodourless.CarbonMonoxideispoisonousandcan
causeunconsciousnessanddeathbyasphyxiation.
o  Exhaust System Maintenance.
Ensurethattheexhaustsystemismaintainedingoodconditionandisfreefromexcessivecorrosionanddamage
whichmayresultinleakage.Ifthevehicleisdrivenoveranobjectwhichstrikestheexhaustsystem,ensurethatthe
exhaustsystemisinspectedatthefirstavailableopportunitytoensurethatnoleakageexists.
o  Confined Areas.
Donotruntheengineinconfinedspaces,allowingtheenginetoidleinagarage,evenwhenthedoorsareopenis
dangerouspractice.Onlystarttheengineimmediatelypriortomovingthevehicleoutofthegarage.
o  Prolonged Idling.
Ifitisnecessarytoallowthevehicletoidleforprolongedperiods,ensurethattheheatingsystemairintakecontrol
issettothe"Fresh"position,theblowerissettohighspeedoperationandthatthevehicleisstandinginanopenarea.
o  Load Carrying.
Ifitisnecessarytocarrylongobjectswhichdonotpermitthebootlidtobefullyclosed,thesidewindowsmustremain
closedandtheheatingairintakecontrolsettothe"Fresh"positionwiththeblowerrunningatthehighestspeedsetting.
Toensurecorrectoperationoftheheatersystem,theairintakegrillesatthebaseofthewindscreenmustnotbe
obstructedbysnowleavesetc..
