should be adjusted so the top of
the head restraint is at the same
heightasthetopoftheoccupant's
ears. For this reason, the use of a
cushionthatholdsthebodyaway
from the seatback is not recom-
mended.

to the occupants may occur in
the event of an accident. Head
restraintsmayprovideprotection
against neck injuries when prop-
erly adjusted.

Theheadrestraintmaybetiltedforward
to three different positions by pulling
theheadrestraintforward.Toadjustthe
head restraint rearward, pull it fully for-
ward to the farthest position and re-
lease it. Adjust the head restraint so
that it properly supports the head and
neck.
To adjust the lumbar support, turn the
handle on the inboard side of the seat.
Toincreasetheamountoflumbarsup-
port, pull the lever forward. To de-
crease it, push the lever toward the
rear.
