Replacing SmartKey batteries
SmartKey
̈ Insert mechanical key 1 in side open- ̈ Using a lint-free cloth, insert new

Replacement batteries: Lithium, type
CR 2025 or equivalent.
Battery compartment 2 is unlatched.

Return battery compartment 2 into
the housing until it engages.

Pull battery compartment out of the
housing in direction of arrow.

Remove mechanical key (୴ page 325).
Slide mechanical key 1 back into the
SmartKey.
Remove the discharged batteries.
Check the operation of the SmartKey.
