resultinaseriousaccident.Always
checkthatthehoodisclosedand
securelylocked.

Graspthesupportrodandsecureitin
thestayholeindicatedbythearrowto
holdthehoodopen.

Withthevehicleparked,pullthe
releasehandletounlockthehood.

Support rod
qClosingtheHood

Checkunderthehoodareatomake
certainallfillercapsareinplaceand
alllooseitems(e.g.tools,oil
containers,etc.)havebeenremoved.
Insertthesupportrodinitsclipwhile
holdingupthehood.Verifythatthe
supportrodissecuredintheclipbefore
closingthehood.
Closethehoodsothatitlockssecurely.
