Whenchangingtiresyourself
Ifyouorsomeoneelsechangestires,you
orsomeoneelsecanalsoundertakethe
stepsfortheTPMStocompletetheID
signalcoderegistration.
CAUTION
Wheninspectingoradjustingthetireair
pressures,donotapplyexcessiveforce
tothestempartofthewheelunit.The
stempartcouldbedamaged.

Aftertireshavebeenchanged,turnthe
ignitionswitchtotheONposition,then
turnitbacktotheACCorLOCK
position.
Changingtiresandwheels

Waitforabout15minutes.
Thefollowingprocedureallowsthe
TPMStorecognizeatirepressuresensor's
uniqueIDsignalcodewhenevertiresor
wheelsarechanged,suchaschangingto
andfromwintertires.
Afterabout15minutes,drivethe
vehicleataspeedofatleast25km/h
(16
mph)for10minutesandthetire
pressuresensorIDsignalcodewillbe
registeredautomatically.
NOTE
NOTE
Eachtirepressuresensorhasaunique
IDsignalcode.Thesignalcodemustbe
registeredwiththeTPMSbeforeitcan
work.Theeasiestwaytodoitistohave
anAuthorizedMazdaDealerchange
yourtireandcompleteIDsignalcode
registration.
Ifthevehicleisdrivenwithinabout15
minutesofchangingtires,thetire
pressuremonitoringsystemwarning
lightwillflashbecausethesensorID
signalcodewouldnothavebeen
registered.Ifthishappens,parkthe
vehicleforabout15minutes,after
whichthesensorIDsignalcodewill
registerupondrivingthevehiclefor10
minutes.
Whenhavingtireschangedatan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer
TirepressuresensorIDsignalcode
registrationiscompletedwhenan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerchangesyour
vehicle'stires.
