RunningtheEngine:
Workingunderthehoodwiththeenginerunningisdangerous.Itbecomesevenmore
dangerouswhenyouwearjewelryorlooseclothing.
Eithercanbecomeentangledinmovingpartsandresultininjury.
Therefore,ifyoumustruntheenginewhileworkingunderthehood,makecertain
thatyouremovealljewelry(especiallyrings,bracelets,watches,andnecklaces)and
allneckties,scarves,andsimilarlooseclothingbeforegettingneartheengineor
coolingfanwhichmayturnonunexpectedly.
ElectricalFanandEngineInspection:
Workingneartheelectricalcoolingfanwhenitisrunningisdangerous.Youcouldbe
hitbythefanandseriouslyinjured.Turnofftheignitionswitchandmakesurethe
fanisnotrunningbeforeattemptingtoworkneartheelectricalcoolingfan.
