Replacing SmartKey batteries
̈
̈
Insert the mechanical key 1 in direc-
tion of arrow in side opening.
̈ Remove the batteries 4 in direction of
arrow.
SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO*
Replacement batteries: Lithium, type
CR 2025 or equivalent.
Using mechanical key 1 push gray
slide 2 to unlatch battery
compartment 3.
̈ Using a lint-free cloth, insert new
batteries 4 under the contact
spring 5 with the plus (+) side facing ̈ Remove mechanical key (୴ page 379).
up.
Insert the mechanical key 3 in side
opening and push grey slide
(୴ page 384).
̈
Pull the battery compartment 3 out of
the housing in direction of arrow.
̈
̈ Return battery compartment 3 into
housing until it locks into place.
Battery compartment is unlatched.
̈
̈
Slide mechanical key 1 back into the
SmartKey.
̈
Pull battery compartment out of the
housing in direction of arrow
Check the operation of the SmartKey.
