Connecting the jumper cables

Connect  the  positive  (+)   jumper  cable  to  the  positive  (+)  terminal  of
the  discharged   battery.
Not e:  In the  illustrations,   lightn in g bolts  are  used  to  designate  the
assisting  (boosting)   battery.

Connect  the  other   end  of the  positive  (+)  cable  to  the  positive  (+)
terminal  of  the  assisting  battery.
