Yourvehicleisequippedwithanemissioncontrolsystem(thecatalyticconverterispartof
thissystem)thatenablesyourvehicletocomplywithexistingexhaustemissions
requirements.
WARNING
Neverparkoverornearanythingflammable:
Parkingoverornearanythingflammable,suchasdrygrass,isdangerous.Evenwith
theengineturnedoff,theexhaustsystemremainsveryhotafternormaluseand
couldigniteanythingflammable.Aresultingfirecouldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
CAUTION
Ignoringthefollowingprecautionscouldcauseleadtoaccumulateonthecatalyst
insidetheconverterorcausetheconvertertogetveryhot.Eitherconditionwill
damagetheconverterandcausepoorperformance.
ØUSEONLYUNLEADEDFUEL.
ØDon'tdriveyourMazdawithanysignofenginemalfunction.
ØDon'tcoastwiththeignitionswitchturnedoff.
ØDon'tdescendsteepgradesingearwiththeignitionswitchturnedoff.
ØDon'toperatetheengineathighidleformorethan5minutes.
ØDon'ttamperwiththeemissioncontrolsystem.Allinspectionsandadjustments
mustbemadebyaqualifiedtechnician.
ØDon'tpush-startorpull-startyourvehicle.

thefirstsaleandregistrationofavehicleissubjecttopenalties.Insomestates,suchmodification
