Continuous use of the recirculation mode may make
the inside air stuffy and window fogging may occur.
Extendeduseofthismodeisnotrecommended.
Conditioning. A light will illuminate
when theAir Conditioning System is
engaged.Rotatingthedialleftintothe
blue area of the scale indicates cooler
temperatureswhilerotatingrightinto
the red area indicates warmer tem-
peratures.
•
The use of the recirculation mode in cold or damp
weather will cause windows to fog on the inside,
becauseofmoisturebuildupinsidethevehicle.Select
theOutsideAirpositionformaximumdefogging.
•
TheA/Cwillengageautomaticallytopreventfogging
whentherecirculationbuttonispressedandthemode
controlissettopanelorpanel/floor.
NOTE: Theairconditioningcompressorwillnotengage
untiltheenginehasbeenrunningforabout10seconds.

MAXA/C
For maximum cooling use the A/C and recirculation
buttonsatthesametime.
•

TheA/Ccanbedeselectedmanuallywithoutdisturb-
ingthemodecontrolselection.
When the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK
position,therecirculationfeaturewillbecancelled.
•
ECONOMYMODE
Ifeconomymodeisdesired,presstheA/Cbuttontoturn
OFF the indicator light and theA/C compressor. Then,
movethetemperaturecontroltothedesiredtemperature.
