ThevehiclemaythenbestartedinNEUTRAL.

Have your vehicle inspected by your local authorized

dealeriftheshiftlockmanualoverridehasbeenused.

Four–SpeedAutomaticTransmission

NOTE: Under extreme cold temperatures (-6°F (-21°C)

and when in DRIVE, transmission operation may be

briefly limited to only second gear operation. Normal

operationwillresumeoncethetransmissiontemperature

hasrisentoasuitablelevel.

ShiftLever

Shifting from DRIVE to PARK or REVERSE should be

doneonlyaftertheacceleratorpedalisreleasedandthe

GearRanges

vehicleisstopped.Besuretokeepyourfootonthebrake PARK

whenmovingtheshiftleverbetweenthesegears.

Thisrangesupplementstheparkingbrakebylockingthe

transmission. The engine can be started in this range.

Never use PARK while the vehicle is in motion.Apply
