If system limitations are exceeded, the Touch
screen view will grey out and water depth will
not be displayed.
Wade sensing is suspended if vehicle speed
exceeds 10 km/h (6 mph), or the gradient
exceeds 10°. Wade sensing will automatically
reactivate if vehicle speed drops back down to
10
km/h (6 mph). If vehicle speed exceeds 30
km/h (19 mph) for 30 seconds, Wade sensing
will automatically switch off.
Note: Wading performance is improved if the
vehicle suspension is set to Off-road height.
See 116, OFF-ROAD HEIGHT.
Note: Wade sensing will not operate if the
vehicle is fitted with Fixed side steps. However,
the system will operate with Side tubes or
Deployable side steps if they are in the retracted
position.
Note: Wade sensing will not operate if the
exterior mirrors are in the fold position.
Note: The Parking aid, Park assist, Flank guard,
and Intelligent stop/start systems are all
disabled when wade sensing is operating.
