Important safety precautions
Acomputersystemcontrolstheengine’sidlerevolutionsperminute
(RPM).Whentheenginestarts,theidleRPMrunshigherthannormalin
ordertowarmtheengine.Iftheengineidlespeeddoesnotslowdown
automatically,havethevehiclecheckedbyyourauthorizeddealer.
Beforestartingthevehicle:
1.
Makesureallvehicleoccupantshavebuckledtheirseatbelts.For
moreinformationonseatbeltsandtheirproperusage,refertothe
SeatingandSafetyRestraintschapter.
2.
Makesuretheheadlampsandvehicleaccessoriesareoff.
Ifstartingavehiclewithan
automatictransmission:
