drivingonanyroadconditioncancauseyoutolosecontrolofyour
vehicleincreasingtheriskofpersonalinjuryorpropertydamage.
Activationoftheelectronicstabilitycontrolsystemisanindicationthat
atleastsomeofthetireshaveexceededtheirabilitytogriptheroad;
thiscouldreducetheoperator’sabilitytocontrolthevehicle,
potentiallyresultinginalossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,
personalinjuryanddeath.IfyourElectronicStabilityControlsystem
activates,SLOWDOWN.
WARNING:Ifafailurehasbeendetectedwithintheelectronic
stabilitycontrolsystem,the“slidingcar”icon
willilluminate
steadily.Verifythattheelectronicstabilitycontrolsystemisnot
manuallydisabled(pushtheelectronicstabilitycontrolbuttonlocated
onthecenteroftheinstrumentpanel).Ifthe“slidingcar”icon
still
illuminatessteadily,havethesystemservicedbyanauthorizeddealer
immediately.Operatingyourvehiclewithelectronicstabilitycontrol
disabledcouldleadtoanincreasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,
vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.

TheESCsystemautomaticallyenableseachtimetheengineisstarted.
Allfeaturesoftheelectronicstabilitycontrolsystem(TCS,DSC,and
RSC)areactiveandmonitorthevehiclefromstart-up.However,the
systemwillonlyinterveneifthedrivingsituationrequiresit.
