increasedtraction.Thisis
appropriatefornormalon-road
operatingconditions,suchasdry
roadsurfaces,wetpavement,
snowandgravel.
The4WDHIGHmodeprovides
four-wheeldrivewithfullpower
tobothaxles.Itisonlyintended
forseverewinteroroff-road
conditions,suchasdeepsnow
andice(wherenodryorwet
pavementremainsuncovered),
andshallowsand.
The4WDLOWmodesupplies
four-wheeldrivewithfullpower
tobothaxlesandincludesa
lowergearratioforlow-speed.It
isonlyintendedforoff-road
applicationsthatrequireextra
powerincludingdeepsand,steep
gradesandpullingaboatand
traileroutofthewater.
Thevehicleshouldnotbeoperatedin4WDHIGHand4WDLOW
ondryormerelywetpavement.Doingsowillproduceexcessive
noise,increasetirewearandmaydamagedrivelinecomponents.
Thesemodesareintendedforuseonlyonconsistentlyslipperyor
loosesurfaces.
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwith4WDorAWD,asparetireofa
differentsizethantheroadtiresshouldneverbeused.Sucha
