changecompletionbeforeselectingthe
requireddrivinggear.
ONLYuselowrangegearsinasituation
wherelowspeedmanoeuvringisnecessary,
suchasreversingatrailerornegotiatinga
boulderstrewnriverbed;alsouselowrange
formoreextremeoff-roadconditionswhere
progressinhighrangecannotbemaintained.
Whenlowrangeisselected,themessage
centredisplays’LOW’momentarily,andthen
’
L’isdisplayedalongwiththerelevantgear
selected(eg.’L2’).
High/lowrangechangewarning
WARNING
Toavoidpersonalinjuryandpossible
damagetothetransmission,itisessential
toensurethatanychangeofgearrangeis
fullycompletedbeforereleasingthebrake
anddriving,i.e,waituntil:
Anaudiblewarningwillsoundwhilstachange
fromonegearrangetoanotherisattempted.
Thewarningwillceaseoncethechangeis
completeorcancelled.

Illuminationofthegearrangeselector
positionsiscontinuous.
Usingthe’H-gate’
Tomakeachangefromhightoloworvice
versa,thevehiclemustbestationary.

Thetransfergearboxwarninglighthas
extinguished.

Fullydepressthecatchbuiltintothehandle

Lowisdisplayedinthemessagecentre),
beforeselectingthedesiredgearinthenew
rangeandreleasingthebrakes.
Ifthevehicleismovingwhenatransfergear
changeisattempted,themessagecentrewill
display’SLOWDOWN’andtheaudible
warningwillsound.
