USINGBOOSTERCABLES
Ifadonorvehicleistobeused,bothvehicles
shouldbeparkedwiththeirbatterylocations
adjacenttoeachother.Ensurethatthetwo
vehiclesdonottouch.

Usingasubstitutebatteryfittedtothe
disabledvehicle.
Applythehandbrakesandensurethatthe
transmissionofbothvehiclesissetinneutral

Usingboostercables(jumpleads)to
connectthebatteryfromadonorvehicle
tothedischargedbattery.

TurnoffthestarterswitchandALLelectrical
equipmentofBOTHvehicles,thenfollowthe
instructionsspecifictopetrolordieselengine
modelsonthepagesthatfollow.

samevoltage(12volts),andthatthe
boostercableshaveinsulatedclamps
andareapprovedforusewith12volt
batteries.

battery.
DONOTconnectpositive(+)terminalsto
negative(-)terminals,andensure
boostercablesarekeptawayfromany
movingpartsintheengine
compartment.

Takecarewhenworkingnearrotating
