isrunning.Ifitremainsonwhentheengineis
started,orcomesonduringajourney,stop
thevehicleassoonassafetypermitsandseek
qualifiedassistancebeforecontinuing.Always
checkoillevelswhenthislightilluminates.
Thelightshouldextinguishwhenthe
handbrakeisfullyreleasedorafterthebulb
checkifthehandbrakeisoff.Ifthelight
illuminateswhilstdriving,afaultisindicated.
Stopthevehicleassoonassafetypermitsand
seekqualifiedassistancebeforecontinuing.
NOTE:Atverylowambienttemperaturesthe
lightmaytakeseveralsecondstoextinguish.
ABS-YELLOW.
NOTE:Ifthevehiclehasbeenstandingfor
sometime,itmaytakeupto40seconds
beforethelightextinguishes(inthiscase,ABS
andTCwarninglightswillalsobe
illuminated).
Thislightilluminatesfor
approximately1secondwhenthe
starterswitchisturnedtoposition’II’ ,and
thenbrieflyextinguishesbeforecomingon
again.Ifthelightdoesnotextinguishandthen
illuminateagainthenafaulthasoccurredwith
theABSsystemandyoushouldconsultyour
LandRoverdealerattheearliestopportunity.
Thewarninglightwillremainilluminateduntil
thevehicleisdrivenaboveapproximately7
km/h.
Batterycharging-RED.
Illuminatesasabulbcheckwhen
thestarterswitchisturnedto
position’II’andextinguisheswhentheengine
isrunning.Ifitremainsonorilluminates
whendriving,afaultisindicated.Seek
qualifiedassistanceurgently.
Ifthelightremainsilluminatedor
subsequentlyilluminateswhilstdriving,afault
hasbeendetectedbytheself-monitoring
system.Themessagecentrewilldisplay’ABS
FAULT’;thismeansthatfullABScontrolmay
notbeavailable,andyoushouldconsultyour
dealerattheearliestopportunity.
Trailerdirectionindicators-
GREEN.
Thislightisonlyoperativewhen
atrailerisconnectedtothevehicleviaa
multi-pinsocket.Thelightflashesin
conjunctionwiththevehicledirection
indicators,thusconfirmingthatthetrailer
indicatorlightsareoperatingcorrectly.Inthe
eventofthefailureofatrailerdirection
indicatorlight,thewarninglightwillnot
illuminate.
