TYRE ROTATION
Tyre chains should be installed on the front
wheels. Be sure that the chains are installed in
accordancewiththemanufacturer'sinstructions.

needed.
WARNING:

Whenrotatingthe215/45R17tyres,ensureto
follow the"ROTATION" direction marked on
the sidewall of tyres.
The tyre wear characteristics will vary between
eachtyredependantupontheconditionsofuse.
Itisnormalforthefronttyrestowearmorerapidly
than those fitted to the rear of the vehicle and
therefore tyre rotation will provide a means of
helping to ensure an even wear rate across the
tyre set. For vehicles fitted with radial ply tyres,
rotation should be confined to front to rear tyre
alternation.Itisnotrecommendedthatradialply
tyres be rotated from side to side.
WARNING:
When rotating the tyres of the left and right,
separatethewheelfromthetyreandthenre-
assemble them. However, it is acceptable
thatthesteelsparewheelbeusedinconjunc-
tion with Original Equipment aluminium
wheels since the offset of both wheels is
compatible.Radialandcrossplytyresshould
not be mixed on the same vehicle.
o Whendrivingonroadscoveredwithsnow
orice,driveatlessthan30km/h(20mph).
o Use a tyre chains less than 10mm to 16",
17"
tyre.
o Avoid sudden stop and turn.
o Tightenfirmlynottohearcontactsound,if
itstillsounds,removethechainsfordam-
ageprotection.
NOTE:
Aluminiumwheelswhicharenotsuppliedas
Original Equipment should not be mixed on
thesamevehiclewiththeoriginalsteelwheels.
