right for the desired bass tone.

POWER ON-OFF Control Knob
Pressing the FM/AM button changes the AM, FM1
andFM2bands.Themodeselectedisdisplayed
on LCD.
Theradiounitmaybeoperatedwhentheignition
key is in the "ACC" or "ON" position. Press the
knobtoswitchthepoweron.TheLCDshowsthe
radiofrequencyintheradiomodeortheCDtrack
indicator in either the CD mode or CD AUTO
CHANGERmode.Toswitchthepoweroff,press
the knob again.
TREB (Treble Control) Knob
Pullthebasscontrolknobfurtherout.Turntothe
left or right for the desired treble tone.
7. PRESET STATION SELECT Button
Six (6) stations for AM, FM or FM2 respectively
canbepresetintheelectronicmemorycircuiton
this unit.
4. SCAN Button
Whenthescanbuttonispressed,thefrequency
will increase and the receivable stations will be
tunedinoneafteranother,receivingeachstation
for5seconds.Tostopscanning,pressthescan
buttonagain.
VOLUME Control
HOW TO PRESET STATIONS
Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the vol-
ume and turn the knob counterclockwise to re-
duce the volume.
Six AM and twelve FM stations may be pro-
grammedintothememoryoftheradio.Then,by
simply pressing the band select button and/or
one of the six station select buttons, you may
recallanyofthesestationsinstantly.Toprogram
the stations, follow these steps:

TUNE (Manual) Select Button
Pull and turn the control knob clockwise to em-
phasizerightspeakersound(leftspeakersound
will be attenuated). When the control knob is
turnedcounterclockwise,leftspeakersoundwill
be emphasized (right speaker sound will be
attenuated).
Press the ( ) side or ( ) side to increase or to
decreasethefrequency.Presseitherbuttonand
holddowntocontinuouslyscroll.Releasebutton
once the desired station is reached.

Press band selector to set the band for AM,
FM or FM2.
Select the desired station to be stored by
seek, scan or manual tuning.
Determine the preset station select button
you wish to use to access that station.
Press the station select button for more than
two seconds. A select button indicator will
show in the display indicating which select
button you have depressed. The frequency
display will flash after it has been stored into
thememory.

Turn the control knob counterclockwise to em-
phasizefrontspeakersound(rearspeakersound
will be attenuated). When the control knob is
turned clockwise, rear speaker sound will be
emphasized(frontspeakersoundwillbeattenu-
ated).
Press the TUNE select button for 1 sec or more.
Releasing it will automatically tune to the next
available station with a beep sound.
When the ( ) side is pressed longer than 1
second, releasing will automatically tune to the
next higher frequency and when the ( ) side is
pressed longer than 1 second, releasing will
automatically tune to the next lower frequency.
