Central Door Locks
THEFT-ALARM SYSTEM (If  installed)
This system is designed  to provide protection
fromunauthorizedentryintothecar.Thissystem
isoperatedinthreestages:thefirstisthe"Armed"
stage, the second is the "Alarm" stage, and the
third is the  "Disarmed" stage. If triggered,  the
systemprovidesanaudiblealarmwithblinkingof
the turn signal lights.

Parkthecarandstoptheengine.Armthesystem
as described below.

Thecentraldoorlockingswitchislocatedonthe
driver'sarmrest.Itisoperatedbydepressingthe
door lock switch.

Remove the  ignition key  from the  ignition
switch.
Make sure that the engine hood and tail gate
are closed and latched.
Lock the doors using the  transmitter of the
keyless entry system.
NOTE:
LOCK

When pushing  the  front portion  of the
driver'sdoorlockswitch,allvehicledoors
will lock.  If any  door is  open when the
switch is depressed, the door will remain
lockedwhenclosed.
After completion  of the steps  above, the turn
signal lights will blink once to indicate  that the
system is armed.

When  pushing  the rear  portion  of  the
switch, all vehicle doors will unlock.
The central door locking is  operated by
turning the key toward the front or rear of
thevehicle.
NOTE:
1)
If any door, tail  gate or engine hood re-
mainsopen,thesystemwillnotbearmed.
If this happens, rearm the system as de-
scribedabove.
