km)ofdriving.

thecrosshatchzoneifatnormal
operatingtemperature(150°F-170°F

Highfluidlevel
Fluidlevelsabovethecrosshatch
zonemayresultintransaxlefailure.
Anoverfillconditionoftransmission
fluidmaycauseshiftand/or
engagementconcernsand/or
possibledamage.
Highfluidlevelscanbecausedbyanoverheatingcondition.
Adjustingautomatictransmissionfluidlevels
Beforeaddinganyfluid,makesurethecorrecttypeisused.Thetypeof
fluidusedisnormallyindicatedonthedipstickbladeandalsointhe
Lubricantspecificationssectioninthischapter.
Useofanon-approvedautomatictransmissionfluidmaycause
internaltransaxlecomponentdamage.
Ifnecessary,addfluidin1/2pint(250ml)incrementsthroughthefiller
tubeuntiltheleveliscorrect.
