Donotloadlargeorbulkyitems(i.e.,plywood,mattresses)on
therearofthevehiclesothattheyextendabovetheroofline.In
additiontoblockingyourrearview,theycanalsocausedangerous
drivingsituationsandcouldresultinanincreaseriskoflossofvehicle
controlandpersonalinjury.Useadditionalcarewhendrivingwith
reducedvisibility.
Onlyloadcargointhedesignatedarea.Loadingoutsideofthe
approvedareacouldresultinpersonalinjuryaswellasvehicle
damagethatmaynotbecoveredbywarranty.
Vehicleswithahighercenterofgravitysuchasutilityand
four-wheeldrivevehicleshandledifferentlythanvehicleswitha
lowercenterofgravity.Utilityandfour-wheeldrivevehiclesarenot
designedforcorneringatspeedsashighaspassengercarsanymore
thanlow-slungsportcarsaredesignedtoperformsatisfactorilyunder
off-roadconditions.Avoidsharpturns,excessivespeedandabrupt
maneuversinthesevehicles.Failuretodrivecautiouslycouldresultin
anincreaseriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personal
injuryanddeath.
