informationidentifiesanddescribesthefundamentalcharacteristicsof
thetireandalsoprovidesaU.S.DOTTireIdentificationNumberfor
safetystandardcertificationandincaseofarecall.
Thisbeginswiththeletters“DOT”andindicatesthatthetiremeetsall
federalstandards.Thenexttwonumbersorlettersaretheplantcode
designatingwhereitwasmanufactured,thenexttwoarethetiresize
codeandthelastfournumbersrepresenttheweekandyearthetirewas
built.Forexample,thenumbers317meanthe31stweekof1997.After
2000
thenumbersgotofourdigits.Forexample,2501meansthe25th
weekof2001.Thenumbersinbetweenareidentificationcodesusedfor
traceability.Thisinformationisusedtocontactcustomersifatiredefect
requiresarecall.

all-seasonversusall-terrain)asthoseoriginallyprovidedby
Mazda.UseofanytireorwheelnotrecommendedbyMazdacan
affectthesafetyandperformanceofyourvehicle,whichcould
resultinanincreasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehicle
rollover,personalinjuryanddeath.Additionallytheuseof
non-recommendedtiresandwheelscouldcausesteering,
