fillerpipe.

Turnthefillercapclockwiseuntilitclicksatleastonce.
Afterrefueling,ifthe“CHECKFUELCAP”indicatorcomesonandstays
onwhenyoustarttheengine,thefuelfillercapmaynotbeproperly
installed.Turnofftheengine,removethefuelfillercap,alignthecap
properlyandreinstallitsecurely.The“CHECKFUELCAP”indicator
shouldturnoffafterthreedrivingcycleswiththefuelfillercapproperly
installed.Adrivingcycleconsistsofacoldenginestart-upfollowedby
mixedcity/highwaydriving.
Ifyoumustreplacethefuelfillercap,replaceitwithafuelfiller
capthatisdesignedforyourvehicle.Thecustomerwarrantymay
bevoidforanydamagetothefueltankorfuelsystemifthe
correctgenuineMazdafuelfillercapisnotused.
WARNING: Thefuelsystemmaybeunderpressure.Remove
fuelfillercapslowly.Otherwise,fuelmaysprayoutandinjure
youorothers.
WARNING: Ifyoudonotusetheproperfuelfillercap,
excessivevacuuminthefueltankmaydamagethefuelsystem
orcausethefuelcaptodisengageinacollision,whichmay
